👤 About Me

My name is Thijs Maalderink, I’m 41 years old and have been living in Prague with my family for nearly 10 years. Out of my passion for the beautiful game, I recently started TMFootball (TMF).

I have always been inspired by Ajax and the philosophy of Johan Cruijff. That means: we train as much as possible with the ball, focusing on creativity, intelligence, and enjoyment in the game. With my trainer’s license and courses at both the Cruijff Institute and the KNVB, I believe deeply in this vision of football.

My training lessons are shaped through direct contacts with top Ajax coaches such as Willem Weijs (Young Ajax) and Paul Nuijten (Ajax U19).

 

At TM Football, we work with the values of TIPS – Technique, Insight, Personality, and Speed – building not only better footballers, but stronger individuals.

Although I don’t yet speak Czech fluently, I’ve discovered that football is a universal language that connects us all.
